Ku Muzi BOMA Opens Its Doors, Strengthening Cresta Mowana's Commitment to Community Development

Kasane, Botswana - Ku Muzi BOMA has opened its doors, marking a significant step in Cresta Mowana Safari Resort & Spa's ongoing commitment to responsible tourism, community development, and the preservation of Botswana's rich cultural heritage.

As one of Botswana's leading leisure hospitality destinations, Cresta Mowana Safari Resort & Spa believes tourism should create meaningful value for the communities in which it operates. Through Ku Muzi BOMA's community engagement, the hotel is creating a sustainable platform aimed at empowering local talent, celebrating Setswana and African cultural heritage, and encouraging greater community participation within Botswana's growing tourism sector.

The initiative reflects Cresta Mowana's broader commitment to responsible tourism by creating opportunities for local traditional dance groups, musicians, storytellers, cultural performers, artisans, and small businesses from Kasane and surrounding villages to actively participate in and benefit from the visitor economy.

Designed around the spirit of African storytelling, cuisine, music, and dance, Ku Muzi BOMA offers guests authentic cultural experiences rooted in Botswana's identity while simultaneously creating visibility and exposure for local creatives and cultural practitioners.
